Chairman HERA Calls on Secretary, Higher Education Department

Chairman, Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA), Mr. Sajid Inam, called on the Secretary, Higher Education Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Amber Ali Khan, and extended his congratulations on assuming the responsibilities of his office. During the meeting, the Chairman HERA provided a comprehensive briefing on the mandate, regulatory functions, key achievements, and overall performance of HERA. He also apprised the Secretary of the Authority’s ongoing initiatives, strategic reforms, and measures being undertaken to strengthen the governance, regulation, and quality assurance mechanisms within the private higher education sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Chairman highlighted HERA’s efforts towards promoting transparency, enhancing academic standards, ensuring institutional compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across private higher education institutions in the province.
Secretary Higher Education Department, Dr. Amber Ali Khan, appreciated the significant contributions and progress made by HERA in regulating and improving the quality of private higher education.
